Here are some tips to help you prevent that ...

1. Brisk Walk First. Before starting to run, you'll want to make sure you build a strong cardiovascular foundation. Creating a solid foundation will help you run without you feeling too uncomfortable.

Try running for only 30-35 seconds and then walk for 2-3 minutes. Repeat this ten times. That will give you five consecutive minutes of total trot. 3. Take three days off each week - Minimum. As you begin to make longer jog intervals, you should also make sure you are resting enough in the equation. Sufficient rest means taking at least three days off each week. Ideally, at the beginning, you'll want to have a day off after each day that you jog.
